Susan Erickson Eggen Williams (GHS class of ‘70) passed away in August 2018 as a result of progressive dementia. Susie, as she preferred to go by, and her husband Harry had relocated from their long time residences in Colorado to Indiana where Harry’s family resides. We lost touch with Susie so we were not aware of her illness nor of her passing. 

 Harry was the love of her life and who adored her and was so good to her. She was fun and vibrant, enjoying everything from sky diving, cattle drives, skiing (she worked at a Vail resort), fishing and scuba diving. 

I know many of us have fond memories of her big smile and spark plug personality, and who after high school showed great talent as an entrepreneur and in sales. We laughed, cried, shared mischief together in high school and spent a lot of time together with our young growing families.

You will forever be loved and missed. Rest in peace, dear beautiful Cardette. Another Cardinal has flown.
